tv revolution ?

i always thought that my generation are very lucky (in terms of media thingy). When we were young, television provided us with bunch of edutainment programmes, you know, stuffs like Sesame Street, Unyil, Local Kids Show, Music Show for children, well everything seemed appropriate and suitable for our age. We also had a chance to watch international programmes (remember telenovela? Amigos X Siempre? Carita de Angel? Luz Clarita? Maria Belen? or American drama like Two of a kind).

As a teenager, MTV started to fill our day, or another teenage show such as Lupus or Olga Sepatu Roda. They really gave us something to learn to. Time passes by, in our early 20s, we've had American Drama or Sitcoms (don't make me mentioned those titles).

My point is; why the so-called 'Generation Z' doesn't has those things??? They have been feeding with typical sinetron(s), kids sing 'love song', no role model, copycat, no approriate programmes or if there's kids' programme, then it won't be long.

it's just so sad, you know. tv needs revolution. the production team, the idea, the method, i think the system needs to be renewed.
