in my opinion, this is not a love story between Burke and Eloise Chandler. Well, yes, they build their relationship, but at first it feels platonic. Burke was on vulnerable place, but he did not want to admit it. He ran, he closed his past, but you can't run from the past, right? no matter how much you want it, though you have your defend mechanism, to ignore, to make an alibi, but still at the end of the day, it will haunt you. You need someone to remind you to reveal your burden, to talk, to tell the truth. Once you said it, it will release your pain a bit, and you'll be ready to move on and live your life.
